INTENSE - TRACER 29 FRAME

Much like our mixed wheel Tracer 279 we have created a bike that is capable, fast, fun, and agile, but with 29” wheels front and rear giving a little more stability and trail flattening speed.

Borrowing design inspiration and technology from our M29 downhill bike, utilizing its bottom link-driven rear shock and suspension design, we have created a mountain bike with plush travel for the roughest of descents and a firm pedal platform when needed. We’ve positioned the rear shock low down and centered in the frame, allowing the Tracer to descend and handle terrain impeccably.

CHAD STORAGE SYSTEM

The Chad Storage system is an on-bike storage solution that is being introduced on the Tracer. This system is not one individual part but a concept for storage solutions that will continue to evolve.

FLIP CHIP ADJUSTMENT

The Tracer 29 has a ‘Flip Chip’ feature which allows you to alter your bike’s geometry between two positions. The High setting is best in technical terrain, while the Low is more suitable for flow and bike park style riding.

29″ WHEELS

The Tracer 29 is designed around a 29″ wheelset, providing stability, tracking, and comfort when rolling over obstacles. Whether you are looking for speed on the straightaways or ease in the rock garden, the tracer is ready.

THE JS TUNED ENDURO LINK

What this means is that you get a supple and sensitive ride that initially absorbs small bumps, then seamlessly moves into a supportive mid-stroke platform (which helps to maintain ride height) and finally into a controlled ramp-up towards bottom-out. All this translates into a very predictable ride that offers plenty of support, can tackle anything, and gives endless grip in all situations.

An Enduro bike needs to do two things: eat up mountainous terrain on the downhills, and then climb back up to do it all again. With our new Tracer 29 we have created a bike that can do just that. And with this frame-only option your Tracer 29 can be built to be perfectly at home in the bike park doing laps, out in the back country on an adventure or racing against the clock. It’s your choice.
