INTELLIGENT BATTERY OPERATIONS
Three predefined battery modes - Performance, Endurance and Ultra - from 25 hours to 120 hours * recording with GPS tracking. Before training, the watch displays the estimated remaining operating time in the current battery mode. If this time is not enough, you can switch to another mode at any time.
Suunto 9 Baro uses smart reminders based on your activity history and ensures that you will be fully catered for your next trip. If the watch detects a low charge during exercise, it will automatically suggest that you switch to another battery mode.

Komercijalni opis
Potpuno nova vilica Float 38 postavlja nove standarde ovjesa u kategoriji enduro! Potopne cijevi od 38 mm nude dosad nezamislivu krutost i povezano rukovanje kotačem. U kombinaciji s eliptičnom cijevi upravljača, novim potkoljenicama, nadograđenim GRIP2 (samo tvornička serija) ili patronom GRIP ili FIT4 i, naravno, novom grafičkom slikom, Svetim gralom Endura!
Vilica je opremljena novom 15 mm boost plutajućom osovinom (15 mm QR x 110 mm), koja osigurava još veću krutost i posljedično smanjuje trenje tijekom rada ovjesa. Uronjene cijevi od 38 mm dodatno su obrađene izdržljivim i iznimno glatkim premazom Kashima (samo FACTORY serija). To, u suradnji sa zračnom oprugom Float EVOL, osigurava iznimno brz rad, koji u kombinaciji sa zračnim kanalom u donjim nogama vilice nudi nevjerojatno mekan rad već u prvom dijelu hoda. Zračni kanal također osigurava stalno podmazivanje cijelog sustava ovjesa, pa vilica dulje ostaje „svježa“. Cijeli paket upotpunjuje poznati GRIP2 uložak, koji je najpoželjniji među enduro i dh vozačima. Razlog je kvaliteta rada i prilagodljivost individualnim željama. Ove godine patrona je nadograđena patentiranom VVC tehnologijom koja pruža do sada neviđenu opciju za postavke "on the fly" putem četiri vanjske postavke. Točku na i dodaju gumbi koji su se do sada viđali samo na Fox Float 40, DH vilicama i nude mogućnost izjednačavanja atmosferskog tlaka zbog nadmorske visine ili temperaturne razlike.
Plutajuća osovina - PLUĆA OSOVINA
Nova "plutajuća" osovina i nova osovina vilice od 15 mm inovativno rješavaju montažu prednjeg kotača. Rezultat je veća krutost i smanjeno trenje same vilice.
Na desnoj nozi se nalazi "plutajući" odstojnik kojim se točno unaprijed namješta širina glavčine koju želimo stegnuti u vilici čime se postiže maksimalna stezna krutost. Time se sprječava uvijanje nogu i posljedično neželjeno pojačano trenje između uronjene i potkoljenice vilice. Vilice su standardno opremljene osovinom koja omogućuje stezanje prednjeg ruba bez upotrebe alata (QR). No, moguće je koristiti i novu Kabolt-X os, koja osim manje težine nudi još veću torzijsku krutost vilice.
Zračni kanal za potkoljenicu - KANALI ZA POKOLJE
Kada se vilica stisne, volumen unutar potkoljenica se smanjuje, a tlak zraka raste. Što su vilice više stisnute, to je veći pritisak. Kao rezultat toga dolazi do neželjenog povećanja progresivnosti vilice, a time i do nemogućnosti iskorištavanja cijelog hoda vilice. Rješenje ovog problema je u novim zračnim kanalima koji drastično povećavaju količinu zraka u potkoljenicama i time rješavaju ovaj problem.
Zračni kanali imaju još jednu dobru osobinu. Ulje za podmazivanje lakše cirkulira po cijeloj unutrašnjosti potkoljenica te tako neprestano podmazuje klizače i uljni prsten ispod brtvi protiv prašine. Vilica stoga dugo ostaje "svježa".
Ventil za izjednačavanje tlaka - BLEEDERS
Ventili na stražnjoj strani potkoljenica omogućuju izjednačavanje atmosferskog tlaka jednostavnim pritiskom na gumb. Povećanje pritiska u potkoljenicama jako narušava funkciju vilice. Najveći utjecaj imaju osjetljivost ovjesa na manje vibracije i mogućnost korištenja cijelog hoda vilice.
Most za potkoljenicu - LUK POTKOLJENJA
Krutost u odnosu na težinu krajnji je kriterij u biciklističkoj industriji. Inženjeri posvećuju bezbroj sati pronalaženju pravog odnosa. Novi most vilica rezultat je takvih istraživanja, jer što je manja težina, to je most jači. Inženjeri nisu zaboravili na moderne biciklističke trendove, koji zahtijevaju korištenje širih dimenzija guma i masivnijih glava okvira (osobito karbonskih).
Eliptična kontrolna cijev - ELIPTIČNI UPRAVLJAČ
Eliptična kontrolna cijev jedno je od mnogih rješenja za optimizaciju krutosti u odnosu na težinu. Ovo rješenje se koristi prvi put i to samo za Float 38 vilice.
GRIP2 uložak
GRIP2 uložak je dizajniran za ventilaciju tijekom rada i stoga održava najvišu razinu performansi u svakom trenutku. Nudi veću potporu u sredini hoda, što sprječava gubitak hoda zbog kočenja s prednjom kočnicom. Novi uložak također ima značajno manje trenje, što dodatno poboljšava osjetljivost na manje neravnine.
