HYDRATION

Inspired by Dainese MotoGP™ technology, the patented HumpBack™ system is fully integrated into the back protector and made of protective material. Like a canteen that’s always to hand but with the extra convenience of not taking up space, it offers the safety of a back protector.

 

PROTECTION

A combination of Auxagon technology inspired by the auxetics of PRO-SHAPE 2 and Crash Absorb Soft Memory Foam on the shoulders, collarbone, rib cage and back ensures total protection that doesn’t add limitations. Control means safety.

 

ERGONOMICS

Reduced bulk, lightness and extreme modularity with removable protectors and the mapping of the most sensitive areas. PRO-SHAPE 2 protectors are inspired by auxetics, expanding and contracting in all directions to guarantee ultimate freedom of movement.

The fixed geometry of the bike compliments the bike’s new metric shock, which is longer than the predecessor for better overall stability and feeling, especially in race conditions. The geometry has been further improved and the bike has a slacker head angle, with a lower BB than the previous model. The M16 now boasts an ‘FRO’ (For Racing Only) bottom link, which works in harmony with the revised kinematics, geometry and metric shock on the bike, offering a premium riding experience thanks to INTENSE’s high-quality engineering. We put a lot of thought into the process of improving this already-impressive downhill model, and thanks to our accessibility to the toughest arenas in the world with some of the leading athletes on the planet, the M16 is a more complete and an even more race defined package for those looking for a 27.5” downhill bike. For 2020 the bike has a new striking look in the high-quality finish expected from INTENSE.

    With over 25 years of downhill racing knowledge, the M-series’ legendary legacy continues, although the M29 is not ‘just’ a bigger brother of the M16. With specifically designed kinematics and geometry to compliment the 29-inch wheels, the M29 is a fast, fierce and fun downhill bike as competed by our athletes Aaron Gwin, Neko Mulally and Jack Moir.
    With special features and some of the finest DH components on the market such as an optimized carbon layup, high quality wheels, internal cable routing as well as the distinguished M29 frame that was developed with the INTENSE Factory Racing team, the M29 is as striking as it is nimble when it comes to the challenges of downhill.     Speed Lock technology allows for the disconnection and connection of the hose multiple times without losing fluid or introducing air into the brake.
